Earnings, Expenses and Allowances

I have now published details of my allowances for the 2005/06, 2006/07 and 2007/08 tax years.

I shall publish detailed accounts for the 2008/09 tax year as soon as they become available.

My salary for the 2008/09 tax year was £63,291. I did not claim the 2nd home allowance (£0), basing myself entirely in the constiutency. As in previous years, I earned no additional money from outside interests, had no family members working for me and undertook no overseas travel at the taxpayers expense. Of course, I shall report back to my constituents if these circumstances change.

The three allowances covered in the PDF files below are the ACA* (2nd home allowance), IEP (Office Costs) and Communications Allowance.

Charles Walker MP

*Note: The ACA will not appear again in any accounts published beyond the 2007/08 tax year as I gave up claiming against my London home in July 2007.
